ROAD TRIP!...

WELL,

I was planning on staying in Maine for the month of July... but other plans are accruing.

If everything works out, I'm going on an audition road trip! Crazy? Yes. But it'll be an adventure!

I'll give more specific details later...but as of right now, I have auditions planned in NYC, Pennsylvania, Missouri, and two cities in Florida.

As of now I'll be leaving after July 4th and will be on the road about 3 weeks...staying with friends and family along the way. Seeing where the Lord leads me along the way. :)

I'm going to try and make it to VA Beach for a short visit as well, so be prepared. ;-)

In the meantime, I have to work on picking audition material. I have to do a pop song for a couple auditions (not my comfort zone), and one audition is 90 seconds...for 2 contrasting songs AND A monologue. Crazy. :)

If you know of an audition going on in your area in the month of July, let me know...I may be able to make it. :)

Happy Father's Day...

I haven't written lately because there hasn't been much to say.

I went to California. My dad and I were visiting with some family, and he preached at a church on Sunday. We went to Universal one day. That was fun. I almost thought I saw Tom Hanks. Nearly had a heart attack. (it wasn't him) :)

This week I've been relaxing. It's been good. Can't remember the last time it's been summer and I've been home, and haven't worked 12+ hours a day.

I am planning to take another trip in July (more on that later). Other than that, still no plans. So if you hear of any awesome jobs...I'm open, ready and waiting for whatever comes my way. :) Still a weird position to be in... but it's only for a season. :)

Special shout-out to my dad...who seriously is the best earthly father I can imagine having.

And Happy Fathers Day to the other dads out there :)

Unexpected: Still in PEI

On Saturday I ran into a friend in the video store who mentioned an audition on Tuesday for a fall contract. I was planning on leaving today (Monday)..but staying an extra day isn't a big deal. I thought about it... and yesterday I decided I wouldn't do the audition, and would leave the Island as expected today.

This morning I woke up still thinking about the audition and spent time going back and forth about whether I should do it or not. I was all packed, ready to go when I paused to pray and think. I figured since I was still not happy with my decision to leave and not audition, that I should stay and audition. So, I called and booked an audition.

So, I'll be leaving the Island tomorrow, Tuesday, AFTER the audition. :) I went to Charlottetown and saw a few friends today, and was still hemming and hawing a bit...but I'm going to audition, and see what happens. :)

When packing to come up here, I even grabbed a few of my head shots "just incase" :)

His will be done...
